Demand Congress reduces their pay to Minimum Wage until a balanced budget amendment is passed.

The purpose of this petition is to let Congress know that we, as citizens, are serious about the financial stability of our Country. We feel that our elected officials should take their job seriously regardless of party affiliation. We, as Americans, demand that our representatives take our National Debt seriously. As Americans we want all of our elected officials to understand that if the general public is willing to make sacrifices, then so must our Congressional members. By demanding that our Congressional leaders reduce their salaries to minimum wage, our Leaders will demonstrate that they are willing to make the necessary changes to ensure the financial stability of our country. Let our Congressional Leaders know that a balanced budget amendment is a necessity for our future.
