Demand that Cuba extradite convicted murderer JoAnne Chesimard (a.k.a. Assata Shakur) to the U.S.

In May of 1973, JoAnne Chesimard murdered New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster. She was convicted in 1977, but escaped from prison in 1979. She fled to Cuba in 1984, and was granted asylum by the Cuban government. This petition asks President Obama to demand that the Cuban government return JoAnne Chesimard to the United States so that she can fulfill her original prison sentence and stand trial for escaping from prison.
