Prominent members of the Democratic Party, and some media members, have led a relentless campaign to impugn the character and integrity of their opponents. Citizens have been called terrorists, neo-Nazis, and racists, simply because they genuinely disagree with Democratic policies. Honorable Americans should not be slandered for political purposes.
Mr. President, you have said you would be happy to have important conversations. But we will never have a conversation when one side repeatedly slanders the other. As your own favorite President once said, “a house divided against itself cannot stand.”
If you truly want to unite us, you can start by demanding that members of your political party stop the race-baiting, sexist, misogynistic, hate-speech that only serves to divide our nation.
