Demand that the Democratic Party rework it's undemocratic superdelegate system of choosing a presidential nominee.

Created by M.P. on April 17, 2016

The system the Democratic Party uses for choosing their nominations is inherently undemocratic. Superdelegates have the power to vote for whichever candidate they choose at the party convention, regardless of who their constituents chose. At the time of writing this petition, Hillary Clinton has 438 more superdelegates than Bernie Sanders. Even if Bernie Sanders pulls ahead in pledged delegate count, Hillary Clinton will still remain on top, even if she is the less popular candidate. We can't let that happen. We must demand that the Democratic Party rework its ironically undemocratic system.
