Demand The Department of Defense to Reinstate The Combat Zone Tax Exclusion for Incirlik AB, Turkey

The DOD removed Incirlik AB Turkey from the list of qualified Combat Zone Tax Exemption locations in 2005. At such time this may have been warranted, but the DOD needs to clearly reinstate this entitlement to the troops in Turkey. Current security threat levels are at an all time high, so much so that all military dependents were ordered out of Turkey, all airmen are confined to the base and not to mention the recent COUP that left our troops without power and in a complete state of lock-down and danger. The troops are engaged in direct combat support against the war in terrorism, more specifically ISIS, therefore Turkey should be deemed as a tax free zone. We ask that you sign this petition asking President Obama to sign an Executive Order reinstating Turkey as a tax free combat zone.
