The federal government has been purchasing ammunition at an alarming rate. DHS alone bought 1.6 billion rounds of hollow point ammunition in less than a year. This is extremely disturbing.
The Hague Convention of 1899 banned the use of expanding projectiles in international warfare. It can only be assumed that this ammunition is intended for domestic use and hollow point ammunition cannot reasonably be believed as intended for training.
1.6 billion rounds of ammunition is enough to shoot every man, woman and child (in the US) 5 times. Equally disturbing is the recent appropriation of 7000 automatic rifles and over 2700 Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected armored vehicles. What purpose does the federal government have intended for domestic use of these assets?
We the People demand an answer.
