After recent news of the legality of insider trading to a select group of Americans (congress) has been exposed to the general public, I believe that reparations are in order. I would like to propose that every person who has in effect defrauded the established system that every American must follow, especially in the turbulent economic times we are facing, repay what they have stolen. Proof of income should be provided for each and every stock deal that a member of congress has participated in, you are not better than the people you govern, you are one of the people. If Martha Stewart had to repay the benefits of her investments and go to jail then so should you. This is not a free for all, millions of your fellow citizens are deciding right now whether to eat or pay the gas bill.
