Chemical companies such as Monsanto, Dow, Bayer, and others are genetically modifying living organisms such as seeds and salmon, and patenting them.
We, therefore, the People of the United States of America appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, demand a unilateral ban on the patenting of any and all seed or living organism. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
