FBI Director Comey broke with long-standing policy regarding 1) release of information pertaining to ongoing FBI investigations and 2) avoiding any potential influence on elections with reagrds to candidates. Comey's interference depsite strong recommendations and warnings from DOJ has had widespread impact on the 2016 Presidential election with voting already underway in many states. There can be no sufficient remedy to correct the negative impact on the American electorate and such behavior by one the head of a Fereral Law Enforcement Agency is in direct betrayal of the public trust.
