The most recent response regarded the legalization of marijuana stated research conducted by the FDA which declares marijuana as an unsafe and non beneficial drug. Many doctors acknowledge the benefits of marijuana not only as a treatment for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, but has even shown positive results in the treatment of brain tumors and breast cancer among many others. Also studies suggest that patients that smoke the substance show no direct correlation between lung cancer and marijuana, but in fact show signs that marijuana users have a much lower cancer rate then tobacco smokers.
We the people ask the FDA to work with regarded marijuana experts in testing the effects of marijuana in the human body to finally understand the many beneficial uses of marijuana.
