For far too long the House and Senate have not brought bills to the floor for debate and vote to protect their members. The time is now to debate gun legislation and have every Congressmen and Senator vote on the legislation and explain to their citizens why they voted. Senators and Congressmen today continue to put politics above the country. They are affraid to vote because of elections. It's ashame we have such cowards in our governement. Our founding fathers would be ashamed and embaressed with the way Congress works today.
