Demand immediate FHFA action enabling zero-cost, job-creating Property Assessed Clean Energy programs.

The FHFA as of July, 2010 blocked residential property assessed clean energy (PACE) programs that would at no cost to the Federal government create thousands of green jobs across the country. We petition the president to immediately direct the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Acting Director Edward DeMarco to enable residential PACE programs, or demand his resignation and replace Mr. DeMarco with someone who will allow local governments and their partners to implement these programs that create green jobs, provide homeowners innovative financing, and help the environment at no cost to the Federal government.
