This petition is a plea for the government to change how punishment is brought to officers who abuse their power.
Men and women of the law are not punished as they should be. They should be held fully accountable for their actions and receive punishment equal to OR GREATER THAN the common citizen. Excessive force, drinking on the job, and violation of basic human rights are to be dealt with a swift and appropriate punishment.
The law was created to protect the people NOT those who would rise above and pervert their given powers.
