Demand Italy's Suspension from the European Union if the conviction of Amanda Knox is Upheld

Created by R.R. on January 13, 2014

The investigators in the Amanda Knox case violated her human rights by interrogating her for extended periods of time, coercing a confession, and mishandling forensic evidence. The prosecutor in her case is also under investigation for abuse of power in previous cases, yet he was allowed to handle Knox's case which had international attention and brought the Italian justice system under the microscope. If Amanda Knox's conviction is upheld, recall our ambassador from Italy and demand that the European Union suspend the country's membership.
