Demand Justice Antonin Scalia recuse himself from the Prop 8 and DOMA hearings before the Supreme Court

It is the role of the Supreme Court to rule on the constitutionality of both state and federal laws. It is the duty of the Justices on the Supreme Court to rule ONLY on whether or not a given law violates the Constitution of the United States. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has repeatedly gone on record - most recently spewing his homophobic vitriol at Princeton University - equating homosexuals with murderers, among other things. Considering the strength of his belief on this matter, and all things concerning homosexuals, Justice Scalia should be required to recuse himself from the hearing being brought before the Supreme Court regarding the constitutionality of both Proposition 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act.
