Violently ripped from the wild, the Orca Lolita has suffered 43 years at Miami Seaquarium in the world's oldest, smallest Orca tank (35ft wide & 20 ft deep) barely one and one half times her size. She is forced to perform 2-3 shows a day, yet her living conditions are inhumane and illegal - in direct violation of the Animal Welfare Act. Violations include: Perimeter Fence & Protection from Abuse & Harassment - Protection from Weather & Direct Sunlight - Space Requirements for Orcas - Housing with Compatible Animals - Emergency Contingency Plans & Pool Environment Enhancement. Well documented, safe, humane rehabilitation plans exist for Lolita. We request President Obama enforce the Animal Welfare Act, protect this member of an endangered species and demand her release from Miami Seaquarium
