The NSA's surveillance is unconstitutional. This country was founded on the fact that everyday, common citizens have a right to privacy - not just the government who may classify files and other records as they see fit. The government is supposed to be for, by and of the people - not for the people in charge, so that they may oppress and spy on common citizens. Lastly, Benjamin Franklin said, "Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both." That statement directly contradicts President Obama's quote said last week, "You can’t have 100 per cent security and also then have 100 per cent privacy and zero inconvenience” - well then we will take 100% privacy for less security. Let reason prosper.
