Mohammad Gulab, an Afghan villager, saved the life of United States Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell after three members of Luttrell's team were killed in a firefight during Operation Red Wings. Gulab's actions put the lives himself, his family and his fellow villagers at risk and due to his selflessness, Marcus was finally able to be rescued and returned home. Now, Mohammad Gulab is seeking asylum in the United States because he has become marked for death by the taliban in Afghanistan because he saved the life of an American. I say we show the current administration the right thing to do is help those who have helped our own. Many individuals enter this county every day without following proper protocol; we need to bring Mohammed Gulab in to the country the proper way and for a proper reason.
