Sudanese woman Meriam Ibrahim, pregnant wife of one American citizen and mother of another, has been sentenced by a Sudanese judge to hang for apostasy. First she is to be flogged - 100 lashes - like a slave. Even were a death sentence for apostasy just, she was always a Christian. The flogging is for her having sex with her Christian husband.

The United States must demand that she be released, unharmed, or we must go to war to free her, or to avenge her.
