President Obama should lead the nation in race relations by attending the funeral of Deputy Darren H. Goforth. The president has not hesitated to provide his presidential support to the families and friends of victims who lost lives under circumstances affecting race relations in our nation. Unfortunately race relations under President Obama have become even more divided. President Obama should take advantage of an opportunity to establish his legacy as a unifier and not a divider. This petition serves as a request for President Obama to attend and speak at the funeral of Deputy Darren H. Goforth.
