The recent refusal of the DEA to reclassify marijuana from a Schedule I drug to a Schedule II drug shows that the DEA is out of step with a majority of Americans. Over 30 states have legalized medical use of cannabis, and many people are able to reduce their dependency on much stronger prescription drugs by switching to marijuana for a number of conditions.
