demand the recovery of 200 missing Nigerian school girls

Created by T.K. on May 02, 2014

Militants have kidnapped a reported 230 school girls in Nigeria. Protestors have demanded the government help return those seized in the middle of the night, though not much has been done.

via CNN: "A total of 230 parents registered the names of their daughters who were missing on the day of the kidnap," said Asabe Kwambura, principal of the Government Girls Secondary School. "From my records, 43 girls have so far escaped on their own from their kidnappers. We still have 187 girls missing."

Frustrated by a lack of help some have taken to social media for assistance using #BringBackOurDaughters and #BringBackOurGirls on Twitter.

Please petition the government to demand an investigation and assist local government to return those still missing.
