On January 27, 2013, Iranian Judge Pir-Abassi wrongfully convicted and sentenced Pastor Saeed to eight years in one of Tehran's most brutal prisons (Evin Prison). All of this was done under the ruse of an actual trial. Family was not present. The conviction was verbal. Pastor Saeed has done nothing wrong.
Iranian law requires a written verdict, but like many other laws, Iran ignored it and will carry out this sentence unless you, President Obama, do something about it. He has been beaten and tortured and for what? Practicing his religion in a private home? He posed no threat to Iran or Islam.
This man is married and has two children. In that sense, he's much like you, President Obama. Bring him home to be with his family. Stand up for this American.
