Demand the resignation of CIA Director Brennan who stated today that torturing prisoners was the right thing to do.

During a news conference on December 11, 2014, CIA Director John Brennan indicated that torturing prisoners to illicit information was the "right" response to the fear created by the attacks of September 11, 2001. In light of the fact that no individual is being held responsible for acts that constitute torture by any reasobable definition of that word, the statement clearly indicates that Director Brennan would engage in the same behavior in the future. The White House has stated that torture will not be tolerated, but we now have a CIA Director who believes torture is effective, and that he is willing to use it in the future. Mr. Brennan clearly lacks the integrity necessary for a CIA Director, and his resignation should be required.
