We, the people of the United States of America, call for the resignation of James R. Clapper, Director of National Intelligence. The nature of his response to the publication of the NSA's program of collecting millions of American's data (calling the exposure 'reckless' and 'gut-wrenching') demonstrates a clear misunderstanding of his role in defending not only the American people, but their liberties and rights as well.
In addition to a blatant disregard for the 4th Amendment rights of all US citizens, Clapper gave testimony before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on March 12, 2013, answering "No" when asked "Does the NSA collect any type of data on millions of Americans?"; an answer he knew to be false given his knowledge of the PRISM program.
