Touted as a new frontier in government involvement, We the People has proven itself to be another channel for politicians to do what they do best: offer blanket, non-committal statements that neither offend nor enlighten. More specifically, many of the site's users are upset that official replies seem to borrow, word-for-word, from established talking points and often FAIL to address relevant points made in the original petitions.
For Americans to take We the People seriously, we demand that responses address EACH AND EVERY point of the petitions they answer.
