We the People do humbly request that President Barack Obama open negotiations with the International Olympic Committee to return the great sport of baseball to the Summer Olympics. When the IOC banished our beloved Great American Pastime so unceremoniously from the world's premier sports competition, they delivered a metaphorical slap in the face to all Americans. This egregious insult is only compounded by the fact that no sport had been removed from the Games in over 75 years. Meanwhile they still allow such ridiculous sports as Speed Walking & Equestrian Dressage & repeatedly reject American Football. It's time to put an end to this fascism. Please demand the IOC reinstate baseball & cease the propagation of their anti-American sentiments or else face devastating economic reprisals.
