Specifically, gun owners in California say that they will not abide by state laws outlawing large capacity magazines and requiring background checks on ammunition purchases. These individuals are, by and large, big backers of states' rights...until the state passes a law they don't like. Then, they run back to the federal law and try to use that as their argument for why they shouldn't have to follow state law.
I believe these individuals, if it can be found that they previously stated their allegiance to states' rights over that of the federal goverment, should be remanded by law to the fullest extent possible if they publicly disavow said position.
Further, they should be required to wear potato sacks, march through the middle of their town and recite Sam I Am.
