Demand term limits for members of congress

This petition calls on the administration to demand term limits for both members of the US house of Representatives and the Senate. When our elected leaders only care about their careers and their own position within their party, they cease representing us and instead represent the interest of a narrow few. In the last few weeks during the fiscal cliff debate, Americans were being held hostage by the childish behavior of congress and the senate as they bicker and procrastinate in effort to advance their own careers and interest within their established party. The only remedy for this is to make the job of a senator and congressmen/woman less attractive and lucrative then it already is. Therefore we call on term limits in both the members house and senate
