Term limits in Washington. It is time to do away with the "professional politician". When we go to the voting polls after a long day's work and see those same names year after year as one of our "choices", we must ask ourselves a very important question...Why are we allowing this country to be run by people who are not looking out for our best interest?
I propose that a law be passed to limit the members of the Senate and Congress to two terms; that members are required to subscribe to the Affordable Health Care Plan; that members serve on a volunteer basis. No salary shall be paid, however a Federal stipend will be provided to cover living expenses in Washington and in their home state. The intent is to encourage service to our country, not to serve those in positions of power.
