We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Demand that the TSA stops holding traveler hostage in an attempt to gain more government funding.

Created by G.L. on May 24, 2016

The lines at Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints have become more cumbersome. The TSA is claiming it does not have the funds to properly staff their checkpoints, but reports are circling of an unwritten directive to delay the lines, in an effort to show the government that the TSA needs more funding. This is paramount to keeping travelers hostage, in an effort to manipulate the public, airlines and the government for more funds.

We ask that the regulations that govern the TSA be completely audited and revamped. No additional money should be given to the TSA until they stop using the travelers as a bargaining chip and improve their regulations:
-Update hiring/vetting requirements
-Clear theft reporting process
-Clear method of reporting abuse
-Transparent regulations
