Demilitarize the Police: until they learn civic responsibilities and become abiding members of a civil society.

Demilitarize the Police:
Not until they are sufficiently educated and know the destructive power of weapons.
Not until they learn that it is their duty to serve and protect the people, and preserve the peace.
Not until they learn their civic responsibilities and become abiding members of a civil society.
Not until then, should they be given weapons of any kind — much less, surplus weapons of foreign wars.
