In light of the deadlock between Democrats and Republicans in Congress, We The People are again left underserved without any viable path to reducing the presence of guns and gun violence in America.
This petition calls on all Democrats and their supporters, to voluntarily relinquish ownership of their firearms to the agency of their choice, for destruction.
Democrats can showcase their resolve and positive leadership in the most courageous manner possible: personal example. Taking this step we are set on a sure path to rid half of the country of gun ownership and violent gun crime, without undue interference from obstructionists.
Democrat leaders must also eschew their armed security details immediately, living and working as their fellow Americans do.
