The United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union, but they don't want total isolation. We should let them join world's largest economy, best military and second largest single-market after the EU. Everyone speaks English, and there is an unparalleled cultural and historical link between our two nations.
The British people would be in favor of such a move, and a similar petition has been put forward to their Parliament for them to apply to join the United States. By bringing London into the United States, the US will control the world's two most important cities for global finance and trade. Geographically, London is almost equally as far from New York as Honolulu is from Los Angeles, so that should not be an issue.
