Under no circumstances should any Democrat attend the swearing-in ceremonies of the current president-elect. We must not pretend that this is business as usual. Don't give this man legitimacy. He was the birther-in-chief against the current president. He disparaged the president at every turn and sought to undermine his authority; demeans women; threatens immigrants; stiffs workers; doesn’t pay taxes (and we do); received five (5) military deferments; calls Elizabeth Warren a racist, but won’t call David Duke one. (Burn a flag, go to jail; burn a cross, get a job in the White House.) To attend his swearing-in is to give this man legitimacy and to give legitimacy to the KKK and everything for which they stand. We must resist! We must fight!
