It is a sad day, in America, when hard-working families with reasonable income are so saddled with healthcare costs that they are driven to bankruptcy.
It is a tragedy, when single parents of sick children have to work two jobs and pay almost half of their income to hospitals and pharmaceutical companies.
It is beyond belief, that in a free and prosperous country - we can't take care of the health and well-being of our own people.
This needs to end, right now. There is no other issue as impactful to the economy, and as important to the welfare of our nation. We can not let insurance and healthcare corporations maintain their stranglehold on our well-being. Please join me in demanding a single-payer system, providing free healthcare to every single citizen regardless of income.
