Demonstrate meaningful respect for Religious Freedom Day by eliminating obstacles to religious freedom from HHS mandate

Created by G.W. on January 17, 2013

The significance of Religous Freedom Day, which was implemented by President Obama on January 16th 2012 and once again celebrated on this day in 2013, would be significantly and appropriately enhanced and elevated by eliminating obstacles towards religious freedom caused by the recent institution of the HHS mandate. This mandate is an infraction against religious freedom and requires religious believers to have to compromise their religious beliefs which are protected 1st amendment rights in order to comply with the Affordable Health Care Act. Many organizations who oppose this element of the law are forced to defend their religious rights by resorting to legal action. This legal action would not be required if the 1st amendment rights of citizens were being appropriately protected.
