Denounce and demand a stop to all anti-President-elect protests

Created by D.H. on November 13, 2016

The Citizenry of the United States of America has voted to elect Donald J. Trump our 45th President. As such, We emplore sitting President Barack Obama to make a public statement in which he denounces and demands a stop to all anti-President-elect protests and riots. To allow these activities to persist is to be complicit in attacks on the legitimacy of Our Republic and its electoral process. Additionally and just as importantly, the violence connected with these incidents also risks the safety of Our President-elect, law enforcement, and members of the public. Respect for the electoral process and rule-of-law are vital to the peaceful transition of power in Our Nation.
