Dear Friends,
I'm not a person who is usually involved in social action, but a brazen decision by HarperCollins publishing house to omit Israel from middle east maps have caused me to raise my voice. I have a big appreciation for America and Israel, both democratic states that values the importance of free speech and equality. I feel that this decision has crossed the line. We must boycott and condemn the omission of Israel from middle east maps which goes against America's foreign policy and censors Israel due to what they term as "customer demand." The reality is that Israel exists and America has been its biggest ally since its onset. I beseech the Obama administration to condemn such irresponsible and greedy behavior by the publishers which only helps worsen the tensions in the region
