The DOJ, under Attorney General Eric Holder has taken steps that threaten to undermine the freedom of the press, a vital pillar of our constitutional democracy. These include, but are not limited to, the DOJ's recent seizure of AP reporter's phone records.
Efforts to side-step the issue on jurisdictional grounds are contemptible, and we demand that the president reverse the dangerous precedents that his Justice Department is setting.
