One of the biggest problems currently our country is the organized, bribery of our elected officials. This bribery takes place in the form of campaign contributions, the lifeblood of every politicians election and re-election hopes, and is known by the far less offensive term Lobbying.
Currently, any organization or person with a specific agenda (and enough money) "donates" money to the campaign hopes of politicians. What they are buying is the election of an official who now votes favorably towards the lobbyist. Often times donations are even given to both candidates, ensuring a favorable vote, regardless of who actually gets elected.
This is a massive corruption of our system, and gives unfair voice to those with the money, rather than the people at large as our government was intended
