Whereas the NFL is one of the largest and most visible entities in the United States, impacting the lives of millions of Americans on a weekly basis, I am calling upon the Obama Administration to denounce the selection of Bruno Mars as the Super Bowl 2014 Halftime Performer and recommend the NFL, FOX and Pepsi change their selection to Jon Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi is a New Jersey native, and not only deserves to represent his home state during his momentous event, but deserves the opportunity to further his efforts of fighting homelessness, poverty, and disenfranchised workers across this country. Jon Bon Jovi serves on the White House Council for Community Solutions and has proven time and again that he uses his music to promote the betterment of America and the values of our working class.
