Deny $30 million a year in additional Federal funding for care of aging primates previously used in medical experiments.

A recent newspaper article detailed the proposed request for additional Federal taxpayer funds in the amount of $30 million to care for aging primates used for medical experiments. We cannot afford this in our budget. It would be more humane to put these animals down and save them from a life caged and unhappy. No taxpayer funds should be used for the purpose of prolonging these poor animals lives.
