deny any and all federal funding to states wherein state officials refuse to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples

The SCOTUS decision of June 26, 2015 makes it mandatory that states and their officials (elected or otherwise) treat same-sex couples the same as opposite-sex couples for purposes of state-sanctioned marriage; this includes issuance of marriage licenses to same-sex couples who apply in any of the 50 U.S. states. In the aftermath of the SCOTUS ruling legalizing same-sex marriages in all 50 U.S. states, some officials in some states (or sub-jurisdictions thereof) are refusing to obey the law and refuse to grant marriage licenses to some same-sex couple. In light of these "nullification" endeavors, same-sex couples continue to be treated differently that opposite-sex couples. This petition requests that the Obama Administration withhold federal funds from "nullification" states.
