Deny the approval of the capture &import of eighteen wild African elephants to zoo environments across the United States

This petition was created in opposition to the US Fish & Wildlife approval to capture and kidnap eighteen WILD elephants from Africa for the sole purpose of having them brought into the United States and placed in concrete enclosures and pseudo environments at local zoos throughout the United States. The zoos are as follows; Wichita, Kansas; Dallas, Texas; and Omaha, Nebraska. These actions are being carried out in the name of conservation, and this will in no way assist the elephant families that are being torn apart so that the kidnapping process can be undertaken. Elephants are family units, they live and die together, they mourn their dead, they depend on each other, and allowing humans to tear their family units apart could mean death for the entire herd.
