My Petition is for all who believe that Curtis Reeves, the man who fatally shot a young Husband and Father in a movie theater (in Tampa,Fl on Jan 13,2014) because he was texting during the show. The Judge has continued to deny him bail, however, Reeves' attorneys are claiming that the 70-year-old FORMER POLICE CHIEF should be released on bail due to his age and because (they claim) "he is not a threat to the public". Curtis Reeves felt as though his life was threatened when the victim threw popcorn at him and he decided to use deadly force in return. THIS, ALONG WITH HIS ABSENCE OF JUDGEMENT WHEN BRINGING A FIREARM INTO A THEATER only proves that he is a constant and deadly threat to our community and that he SHOULD remain in jail until trial.
