deny the entry of Hamid Aboutaleb, who has been nominated as Iran's ambassador to the UN, into the United States.

Hamid Aboutalebi should be denied entry into the US based upon his role in the taking of American hostages by the hard-line Muslim student group that in 1979 took over the U.S. embassy in Tehran for 444 days and held American diplomats hostage. During this time Hamid Aboutalebi assisted the Iranian radicals in the interrogation and torture of American foreign service and military hostages. This individual should arrested and tried immediately upon attempted entry into our country. The presence of this individual would be a slap in the face to all Americans.
