This pipeline will only create temporary jobs- around 30,000 for the project. Passing this will have a major impact on climate change with changing the ground environment, displacing many animals during construction, and further fragmenting ecosystems. It will also increase the amount of Carbon that will be released when refining the oil for consumption- further disrupting our ozone layer thus increasing the rate of climate change/ global warming. We should be looking in to newer, more renewable energy rather than exploiting energy we know will run out.
