We, the People, should have the final word on construction of the Keystone Pipeline since we bear all the risk, including the fouling of our air, water and farmlands, and because all the benefit of this project goes to big oil and none of it to the people who will be most harmed by the failure of this system of oil transportation.
Our President says he is committed to protecting the environment while encouraging the development of safe, renewable energy sources. But Keystone is NOT safe and poses a potentially devastating hazard to our air, water and farmlands.
Please join with me in strongly advocating that the president deny the permissions necessary to the building of this pipeline. Let's make sure our voice are heard over the droning of Big Oil.
