The purpose of this petition is to demand that all members of congress and their staff forfeit all salary or compensation during sequestration to include any monetary, medical, or retirement benefits. All members of congress and their staff are required to fulfill their duties and work without recess until all crisis situations are resolved. Compensation for this or any period will not be retroactive.
Further that all members of congress and their staff cannot receive financial contributions or compensations from any political action, special interest, or privately funded groups or organizations.
This policy will remain in effect during all times of budgetary crisis in which governmental services or personnel are affected.
